About Shipley Do-Nuts Dash
This is an exciting, family-friendly fun run, to raise money to benefit Kids’ Meals Houston. Run, walk or crawl, just come out and join us for the fun! Want to win free donuts for a year? Show us what you’ve got by dressing up as your favorite donut and enter our contest for your chance to win. Don’t miss out on the sweetest fun run in town!
The History
The inaugural Shipley Do-Nuts Dash was held on February 28, 2015. Through the generous support of our dashers and sponsors, we were able to present Kids’ Meals with a check for $10,000, to help fight poverty among underprivileged children in the Houston area. Houstonians have helped raise over $150,000 since that very first Dash. We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Kids’ Meals and to help bring awareness to their mission.
About Kids’ Meals
Kids’ Meals is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, community-based organization, serving healthy lunches to over 3,600 hungry pre-school aged children, living in poverty. They provide and deliver nutritious meals, free of cost to the families, Monday through Friday, year-round.

The Do-Nuts Dash is a 2-mile course with delicious, donut themed obstacles along the route. This non-competitive course will start at BBVA Compass Stadium and end at 8th Wonder Brewery in East Downtown Houston. Stick around for the super sweet after party that includes free donuts, milk and of course, an ice cold 8th Wonder brew. You do-nut want to miss out on the fun!

FAQs
1. Are pets allowed on the route?
Unfortunately, four-legged friends are not allowed to participate in the Donut Dash
2. Can I ride a bike or scooter?
To ensure the safety of all participants, scooters, bikes, segways, or the like, are not permitted. Strollers or wagons are allowed for kids to ride in.
3. What happens if it rains?
The Do-Nut Dash is rain or shine!
4. What if I signed up, but then am unable to attend?
Your registration can be cancelled/refunded up to 24 hours prior to the event. We will not be able to refund/cancel anything after that time period.
